On Sunday October 26th Bikes Not Bombs volunteers will load a 40' shipping container full of bicycle aid for the Global Alliance for Africa's Vijana Center in Tanzania. We start at 10:30 am and work until we finish, which we expect to be 3:30 or 4:00pm.

A group of activists in Brattleboro VT are collecting donated bikes for shipment to Ghana, in partnership with Bikes Not Bombs. They have already collected computers and books which will go into this same shipment to Ghana. If you are in the area and would like to donate bikes or volunteer to help flatten and load the bikes, contact Hilary Cooke at hfcooke@verizon.net.

With donated bicycles from Boston and the support of hundreds of local volunteers and donors, Bikes Not Bombs is co-sponsoring the development of a retail shop to be collectively managed by physically challenged people in Koforidua, Ghana. Join us to see the inspiring film Emmanuel's Gift, followed by a presentation about the progress made so far by this new project!
